Cabinet - Wood, Glass, Ecopelle - Art Deco Dressing Table

Art Deco Vanity Table with Mirror and Side Cabinet – 1930s/1940s Splendid example of Italian Art Deco design, this vanity (or "make-up cabinet") perfectly embodies the rationalist and functional taste of the first half of the 20th century. Characterized by clean geometric lines and an asymmetrical structure, it is a piece of furniture with strong personality, ideal for vintage bedrooms or as a contrasting element in modern interiors. Main Features: - Materials: Made of solid wood and veneer of fine woods with a beautiful visible grain. - Design: The cabinet features a large central rectangular mirror mounted on a stepped base. On the right, an integrated side cabinet provides versatile storage space. - Art Deco Details: - Original "button" handles in Bakelite or contemporaneous plastic with metal inlay. - Blackened pedestal feet that lift the structure, giving momentum and modernity. - Top of the cabinet finished with a dark protective insert (likely linoleum or era-era faux leather). - Storage Space: Composed of two wide drawers on the left base, one upper drawer in the right cabinet, and a compartment with a door and internal shelf. Condition of the item: The cabinet is presented in good vintage condition, solid and complete in all its original parts. As shown in the close-up photos: - Wood: The patina is authentic. There are slight signs of aging and use (small surface scratches and minor color changes in the finish). - Mirror: Generally good condition, with slight oxidation marks on the edges that attest to its authenticity and vintage charm. - Treatment: A few wormholes (woodworm) are visible on the base and back; the item has been pre-treated, but a standard maintenance cycle is recommended. - Interior: Clean, with the drawers sliding regularly.
