Caged ceiling lamp - Blown glass in a metal frame - Venetian-style pendant lamp

Very beautiful and 100% original and complete Venetian hanging lamp. It is very likely that this lamp was blown in the second half of the last century. The height of the lamp is about 40 cm, the diameter about 27 cm. Now the lamp has a short chain to the (very beautiful) ceiling cap (the lamp now hangs about 25 cm below the ceiling), but of course a longer chain can be hung from the lamp. This will also require the cord to be extended, and the lamp can hang as low under the ceiling as desired. The weight of the total lamp with ceiling cap is about 1.5 kg. The Venetian lamp is a lamp that is blown in a glass frame. This makes the glass bulge a little outward between the iron wires. Through the clear glass, a lamp (as in the photos) romantically illuminates the space. Of course you can install any color bulb in the fitting. Each color creates a different atmosphere. Especially in this lamp, which you can consider quite robust, the sparkle of the light through the glass is not as subtle as the sparkle through cut glass. And that is exactly what gives this type of lamp its distinctive appearance. The typical thing about a lamp like this is that it fits into any interior. In a romantic, but also in a businesslike, sleek interior, this lamp really comes into its own. This lamp still looks very good. The metal is hardly rusted, and still 100% solid and stable, and the glass sparkles beautifully (see photos). The ceiling cap is also a beautiful original iron. It is particularly attractive (see photos). When the lamp is off, it already looks particularly beautiful and graceful; when the lamp is on, you get a particularly warm and romantic atmosphere. In the photo a lamp is shown that gives off a somewhat warm-yellow light; of course you can also have a whiter light shine, or use colored bulbs. The lamp is delivered without a bulb and without a ceiling cap. It is professionally packed and insured-shipped.
