Interesting original lot dedicated to the 1970 World Cup in Mexico, comprising 23 footballer stickers from Brazil and Mexico, belonging to the era’s supplementary/insert series, in addition to 2 flag-sticker labels to cut out and apply in the album. The lot includes 6 Brazil stickers: Orlando, Zito, Rildo, Hideraldo Bellini, Jairzinho and Silva. There are also 17 Mexico stickers: Ignacio Jauregui, Salvador Reyes, Elias Muñoz, Ernesto Cisneros, José Luis Gonzales, Ignacio Calderon, Gustavo Peña, Javier Fragoso, Felipe Ruvalcaba, Isidoro Dias, Arturo Chaires, Ramiro Navarro, Jesus del Muro, Luis Regueiro, Francisco Jara, Javier Vargas, Gabriel Nuñez and Antonio Carbajal. Completing the lot are 2 original flag-stickers, Brazil and Mexico respectively, still accompanied by the part with instructions for cutting out and applying them in the proper space of the album. Among the more representative names stand Jairzinho, star of the Brazil world champions in 1970, together with Zito, Hideraldo Bellini, Salvador Reyes and Antonio Carbajal. The stickers feature the characteristic dashed/scored edge of the series. Very good condition for the age, with normal signs of time and small edge irregularities visible in the photographs. Total: 25 pieces — 23 footballer stickers + 2 flag-stickers for Brazil and Mexico. The photographs show exactly all the material included in the lot and form an integral part of the description.
