Artwork by an artist of the Napoleon III era, such as Juan Clara or Louis Kley, who were particularly fond of depictions of children or cherubs from the 19th century. Its base, a veined red marble, supports a stylized pastoral bas-relief. A charming subject depicting a child or cherub who, by his posture, seems to be pushing or rolling a bell. The expressive face of the character and the details of his hands gripping the two metal rods also reveal the preserved shine of the silver bell. The mechanism works perfectly and emits a clear tinkling. An item of great rarity and sought after by collectors. A piece that has stood the test of time and remained in very good condition. Fast, careful shipping with tracking and insurance.
