Camille Rousseau (XXI - Ombrelles sur la plage

Camille Rousseau (1949) – Parasols on the Beach Camille Rousseau, born in Paris in 1949, is a French painter whose artistic universe is particularly devoted to seaside scenes and summer atmospheres. Her work is characterised by a luminous approach, attentive to variations in light and the colours of the coast. This work depicts holidaymakers gathered on the beach, some seated beneath their parasols while others stroll along the water’s edge. The elegant figures, colourful umbrellas and sailboats on the horizon create a charming scene reminiscent of traditional seaside resorts of a bygone era. The palette of blues, whites, ochres and sandy tones captures the softness of the coastal light. The visible brushwork and rich painterly texture bring the figures to life and enhance the peaceful atmosphere of this seaside scene. Technique: oil on canvas Dimensions: 27 × 22 cm Signature: signed by the artist Support: canvas mounted on a keyed stretcher The artist's biography will be provided in French with the artwork upon shipment.
