Pair of Baroque Candelabras with 2 Flames Brass casting – Italy – Mid 20th Century Refined and elegant pair of two-flame candlesticks (lights) made of cast brass with a dark-bronzed finish. The objects feature a splendid and rich workmanship in full Baroque / Louis XV style, characterized by sinuous arms with foliate volutes and raised vegetal motifs that extend to the candle cups. The central stem, finely turned and decorated, rests on a substantial flared circular base, entirely chased with floral decorations and ornamental beadwork that confer great stability and a striking presence to each piece. Perfect as high-class decorative elements for formal tables, fireplaces, or sideboards within both classical and eclectic settings. • Material: Heavy brunited brass • Style: Baroque / Louis XV • Period: Mid 20th Century (approximately 1940s/1950s) • Country of origin: Italy • Number of flames (lights): 2 per candlestick • Dimensions cm: 22.7h x 21L x 11P Excellent overall condition, fully consistent with the objects’ age. The metal retains its beautiful original dark patina that enhances the raised details. Structurally solid, they show no recent welds or breaks. There are holes that allow for easy electrification if desired. Please carefully view the photographic gallery, which constitutes an integral part of the lot description.
