Candelabrum Large and Antique 3-Light Candelabra (Pair) (2) - Bronze, Marble

Pair of Large Empire Style Candelabras / Lamps (Height 68 cm) – In Bronze and Antique Marble From a family inheritance (graced my father's study for many years), I present this splendid pair of Empire-style candelabras. I am a hobbyist, not a professional dealer, so I describe the objects with maximum transparency, exactly as they are. Each candelabrum features 2 side arms for a total of 3 flames (lights) each. These are pieces with great presence and charm, standing tall at 68 cm and decidedly heavy, crafted by combining bronze parts with a solid round marble base. The visual contrast is magnificent, and I find they look wonderful in both a classical setting and within a modern interior, where they create a beautiful focal point of light. The casting and the attention to detail on the bronze demonstrate the quality of the period workmanship. In the past, these candelabras were modified to become table lamps (bedside lamps), with the electrical wiring passing through the 3 flames. For utmost accuracy I must point out that the current wiring is old and not functional. If you plan to use them as electric lamps, I strongly recommend having the wire redone by an electrician for safety. Otherwise, if you prefer to use them as traditional candles, you can do so immediately without any modification. The candelabras are in good overall condition. They carry their natural patina of age, proof of their history. Recently they were carefully cleaned by a trusted craftsman, bringing out the most beautiful details of the bronze. There are no visible breaks or cracks, neither in the metal parts nor in the marbles, which are intact. I only note that the central screw of one of the two candelabras is a bit loose and should be tightened to make it perfectly stable. Being no expert in the field, I cannot guarantee whether they have undergone minor restorations in the past, but I have taken many photos from every angle to faithfully show their current state. I understand how heavy and delicate these bronze and marble objects are, especially given their significant height of 68 cm, so I will personally take care to package them very thoroughly and securely, protecting each piece with ample packing material to avoid nasty surprises during transit. Shipping will be handled by a well-known reliable express courier, with a tracking code and insurance included for the full value of the item, to ensure maximum peace of mind for the winner of the lot.
