Candleholder (2) - Silverplated - Vintage

The Gorham Maestri Italian candle holders are mid-century modernist silver-plated candlesticks from circa 1960s/1970s, featuring sculptural, flowing bases designed for slim taper candles. Both pieces are clearly marked on the base with the authentic "FM Italy" hallmark. These candle holders showcase a distinctive mid-century modernist aesthetic strongly influenced by Italian modernism, Bauhaus, and Art Deco inspiration. Each piece is crafted from high-quality silver-plated metal, combining elegance with a striking architectural presence. The bases are sculptural and playful, formed from continuous flowing tubes, resulting in looped, curving forms that convey movement and personality. The top cup of the holder is clean and vertical, perfectly suited for slim taper candles, making the holders ideal for decorative arrangements on tables, mantels, or sideboards. Gorham Maestri candle holders are timeless decorative statements, ideal for collectors of vintage Italian modernist décor. Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age/patina, as shown in the pictures.
