Candleholder - Wood, Copper - Two sets of candlesticks

Lot of two sets of candlesticks. Art Deco period, Amsterdam School. Dutch, 1920s–1930s The first pair showcases a beautiful set of antique oak candlesticks in the geometric style of the Amsterdam School (or Arts & Crafts), dating from the 1920s–1930s. The candlesticks stand out for their clean, architectural form with a stepped, square base and are at the top equipped with authentic copper or brass wax guards with a candle pin. Such high-quality wooden furniture and accessories were produced in the Netherlands during this period, among others by renowned furniture makers such as Oisterwijk. Dimensions: 24 cm high, 16 cm wide, and 13 cm deep. Condition: in excellent condition, of course there are signs of use—see photos. The second pair consists of vintage Art Deco / Amsterdam School wooden candlesticks, characterized by the typical geometric design and the contrasting use of two different kinds of wood. Such sets were often made in the first half of the 20th century (circa 1920–1940) as part of an altar set. Dimensions: 14 cm high, 10 cm wide and 8 cm deep. Condition: in good condition, minimal signs of wear. Photos are part of the description. These were taken under artificial light; color may vary. Mood impressions are shown. They are well packed and shipped by registered mail. Jiljes where quality and service come first!
