All auctions / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Candlestick (2) - Bronze, Marble - 19th-century candelabra

Magnificent pair of antique 19th-century candelabras, in the style of Louis XVI and Directoire. Each piece features a patinated bronze cherub supporting a bouquet of flowers in gilded bronze. The cylindrical shafts are made of veined gray marble and adorned with bronze chains, all resting on a white marble base. • Condition: - Very good: Objects are completely original, NEVER drilled for electricity. Beautiful patina on the gilding. - To note: A chip on the white marble base of one of the candelabras (visible in the photo). On this same candelabra, the cherub and the cylindrical shaft rotate but do not detach from the marble base (not problematic, on the contrary, it helps hide the marble chip at the back of the cherub). The chain at the base of the cherub of one of the two lamp holders needs to be reattached. • Dimensions: Height: 38 and 40 cm
