Candlestick (2) - Gilt bronze - Rococo style

Up for auction: a splendid pair of small candelabra in dark gilded bronze, characterized by a refined Rococo style, rich in movement and ornamental details. The candelabras feature a slender and elegant structure, with a shaft decorated by sinuous volutes, foliate motifs, and relief work that recall the decorative taste of the 19th century. The base, richly molded, bears a relief portrait of a playful putto. The slightly darkened gilding enhances every detail of the workmanship, making these objects ideal both as decorative elements and as collectible pieces. Perfect for enhancing a classical setting, but also for creating a fascinating contrast in more modern contexts, these candelabras have perfectly preserved their typical time-of-origin appearance despite the years that have passed.
