CANDY BOX

A circular case in yellow gold (750 °/°°). The removable lid and caseback are decorated with a guilloché pattern of dots and waves. The rims are decorated with chiselled acanthus leaves. Hallmarks: second rooster, third fineness mark, Paris 1809–1819, and silversmith’s mark: Étienne-Pierre Rousselet, admitted as a master in 1788 and granted the right to stamp in 1799–1800. Height: 1.7 cm – Diameter: 6 cm – Weight: 65 g. (In good overall condition)
