All auctions / Nautica, Technica & Optic / Canon AE-1 Program + Macro 3,5/50mm Single lens reflex camera (SLR)
Legendary Canon AE-1 Program, one of the most iconic 35mm SLRs of all time. This is the rare Football World Cup 1982 edition, for which Canon was a sponsor and the official camera, finished in entirely BLACK, featuring a beautiful and evocative "brassing" effect (slight wear on the edges exposing the metal beneath) true to vintage reportage. Camera body: Canon AE-1 Program Black (Serial number 1596209, year 1982/1983). Back cover and battery compartment seals perfectly clean and free of rust. 1982 World Cup Official Front Cap: The original and very rare commemorative front cap with the logo printed "Official Camera of the Football World Cup 1982"; a hard-to-find collectible of great value on its own. Lens: Canon FD 50mm f/3.5 MACRO. A specialist optic with very high sharpness, excellent for film and highly sought after today for adapting to modern mirrorless digital cameras. Glass is clean and the aperture snaps smoothly. Film advance motor: Original Canon Power Winder A2. It screws under the body for automatic motorized advancing. Battery compartment acid-free."
