Carpet - 137 cm - 68 cm - Chinese rug

This hand-knotted wool Chinese rug combines a warm rose-colored central field with a light floral border. Measuring 137 by 68 cm, it makes a decorative accent beside a bed, in front of a dresser, or in a small seating nook. A loosely arranged bouquet of flowers with curved branches forms the centerpiece. Larger floral motifs in the four corners echo the colors of the central design. The open spaces in between let the rose-pink ground show through and give each ornament space. The cream-colored border features recurring flower stems, rounded motifs, and stylized markings. Coral-red and apricot-colored flowers provide warm accents, while gray-green leaves and mauve details complement the design. Narrow edging lines structure the pattern areas. This Oriental rug pairs especially nicely with light woods, cream-colored fabrics, and simple furniture. Its soft color palette brings warmth to the room, while the floral motifs create a decorative focal point.
