Serial single piece: This is not fully automatic, soulless mass production. At Carstens Tönnieshof, the term was used to differentiate from cheap, purely industrial mass goods and to emphasize the handcrafted quality of the pieces. High-quality artisanal work with a high share of handcraft: Each piece has passed through the hands of experienced ceramicists and painters.
