The ring is supported by an oriental-inspired motif of braided gold wires set with 11 high-quality brilliant-cut diamonds in a slight cascade, each weighing 0.65 to 0.8 carats. French craftsmanship from the 1950s. Signed “Monture Cartier” and bearing the manufacturer’s hallmark “R M” (a windmill for “MEUNIER”).
