Cassina Maralunga Two Seater Sofa by Vico Magistretti

The Maralunga Two Seater Sofa by Vico Magistretti for Cassina is an international icon of Italian design, celebrated for its revolutionary fusion of plush comfort and transformative engineering. Its generous seat platform provides a grounded and low-profile aesthetic, upholstered with Cassina's beautifully textured Luxor fabric in Rosa Antico, which accentuates its warm, inviting contours. The design philosophy centres on intuitive, personalised relaxation, utilising an internal mechanism that allows the independent headrests to effortlessly fold down for a sleek, low-slung look or unfold upward for high-backed ergonomic support. This exceptional plushness is thoughtfully balanced by continuous upholstered side panels that cleanly anchor the sofa while preserving its sculptural, compact silhouette. The Maralunga is refined by its padded, wrap-around armrests and generous proportions. It serves as a sophisticated, ultra-comfortable piece for modern living spaces, embodying a timeless harmony between domestic coziness and high-design innovation.
