Cassina - Pierre Jeanneret - Chair - Tribute to Pierre Jeanneret - Hardwood

This Pierre Jeanneret chair ranks among the best-known furnishings of the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh, used to equip meeting rooms and several administrative offices of the Secretariat palace. A UNESCO World Heritage site in 2016, Le Corbusier's Capitol Complex architecture, designed in Chandigarh in 1951, has received recognition for celebrating a nation open to modernity. The 055 Capitol Complex chair features a solid solid-wood structure without arms, composed of separate elements including the distinctive inverted “V” side supports, a hallmark of the entire Pierre Jeanneret furniture collection. Compared to the office chair of the same series, the supports are more compact, as they do not extend to the armrests. Refined, elegant, essential. This chair fits perfectly into any setting, residential or contract. A true work of art in the history of design. Chair 055 specifications by Pierre Jeanneret: • The chair presents a seat-back sequence in Vienna straw, seats in continuity and joined by two wooden profiles with a robust geometric cross-section. These elements structure, with the coplanar legs, a powerful yet simple whole at the same time Dimensions L. 45 cm - P. 45 cm - H. 81/43 cm #madeinfrance
