About Cattier Cattier is a historic family Champagne house based in Chigny-les-Roses, in the Montagne de Reims. The Cattier family has been associated with vineyards in the village for centuries, while the first bottles produced and marketed under the Cattier name date from 1918. This lot is therefore of particular interest to collectors of historic Champagne-region bottles, Coteaux Champenois and old Cattier presentations. Important information No vintage year is visible on the bottles, therefore this lot is not being sold as a vintage wine. The bottles are offered primarily for their rarity, historic presentation, provenance, condition and collector interest. As with all older wines, no guarantee can be given regarding the wine’s current drinking condition or future development. The buyer should take into account the age and storage history of the bottles. Shipping The bottles will be packed with great care in a bottle-specific shipping carton, with reinforced protection and cushioning to minimise the risk of breakage. The original wooden case will also be carefully protected during transport. Maximum 3 bottles per parcel for safe transportation.
