Inspired by fantastical realms and ancient civilizations, he explores through his images the contrasts between shadow and light, revealing the emotional and symbolic dimension of the human face. His work, presented in numerous international exhibitions, notably in London, at the Grand Palais in Paris, at Lille ARTUP in Lille, or the Venice Biennale, has been rewarded with several prestigious distinctions, including an honorable mention at the Salon des Artistes Français, as well as a gold medal at the Vienna International Photo Awards and a bronze medal at the Tokyo International Foto Awards. Through a singular fine-art aesthetic, Cédric Brion creates portraits like windows opened onto imaginary worlds, inviting the viewer to dive into a visual experience that is both poetic and introspective.
