Ceiling lamp - Murano glass

Elegant vintage ceiling light fixture in authentic Murano glass, dating roughly from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The diffuser is made of opal glass in a delicate, very light blue shade. The most characteristic element is the heat-applied blue glass cord, which runs across the surface and is hand-shaped to form an original decorative bow. A detail that makes the piece particularly recognizable and testifies to the artisanal craftsmanship typical of Murano production of the era. A particular example of Italian vintage lighting, characterized by the contrast between the blue opal glass and the applied blue cord. Suitable both as a furnishing element and for a collection dedicated to Murano artistic glass and Italian design of the mid-to-late twentieth century. The ceiling light still retains the original label: "MURANO ORIGINAL GUARANTEED" The structure and the fixing system are made of brass.
