Centrepiece - Radica di Tuia - Grand and Sculptural

Grand Centerpiece in Tuya Rootwood – Italian Decorative Sculpture from the 1970s/1980s Splendid and important centerpiece in authentic Italian tuya rootwood, made between the 1970s and 1980s, characterized by a striking presence and hand-turned craftsmanship of the highest artisanal level. A decorative object with a strong visual impact, where nature takes center stage through deep veins, lively grain patterns, and the typical “eyes” of tuya, considered among the most sought after in the world of decorative cabinetmaking. The slender structure on a central foot gives balance and elegance to the composition, transforming this centerpiece into a true organic sculpture. The surface features a warm, velvety polish that magnificently enhances the amber, honey, and deep brown shades of the wood, creating visual plays that change with the light. Tuya rootwood has always been valued for its rarity and the almost hypnotic charm of its veining, historically used in high-end decoration, production of fine furniture, humidors, paneling, and collectible objects. In this piece the material quality appears especially evident, with a rich, compact weave that gives the whole an extremely refined and luxurious appearance. Important dimensions: diameter 26 cm, height 15 cm Excellent condition, very well preserved, with very light signs of wear compatible with age and use. Smooth and glossy surface, with no cracks or structural defects. A piece with strong decorative presence. Our interior design architect recommends: perfect as a scenographic centerpiece on tables in travertine, walnut, or smoked glass; also ideal on an entry console, a bar cabinet, or a substantial dining table. It integrates magnificently in modern, mid-century, organic modern, luxury chalets, or interiors with a sophisticated and tactile taste. Also beautiful used empty as a pure decorative sculpture. The photos are an integral part of the description. Guaranteed careful packaging entrusted to industry professionals.
