Chair - skew - Set of Four Wooden Stools with Woven Rope Seats

Set of 4 Mid-Century Scandinavian Wooden Stools with Woven Rope Seats – 1970s Description Beautiful and highly decorative set of four Mid-Century wooden stools, dating from approximately the 1960s. The stools feature the clean, functional construction associated with Scandinavian and Danish Mid-Century design of the period. Each stool has a solid wooden frame with straight square-section legs connected by sturdy stretchers. The seats are individually woven from natural rope/fibre in an attractive geometric basket-weave pattern. Particularly attractive is the fact that all four matching stools have survived together as a complete set. The wooden frames display a beautiful natural patina, while the woven seats retain their characteristic texture and handcrafted appearance. Minor variations and signs of use are present, consistent with their vintage age. Period: circa 1970s Quantity: 4 stools Materials: Wood and natural woven rope/fibre Colour: Warm brown wood / natural beige Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related patina and normal signs of use. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description. An attractive and versatile set of four Mid-Century stools, suitable as additional seating, side stools or decorative pieces in both modern and vintage interiors.
