CHAMPAGNE. — ACCOUNT of the miracle that occurred in Avenay, in the Diocese of Reims, on July 8, 1727, at the tomb of Mr. Gérard Rousse, Priest and Canon of Avenay, who died on May 9, 1727, in the person of Anne Augier, a native and resident of Mareüil, who had been paralyzed for twenty-two years. S.l.n.n., 1727. Quarto-sized booklet, stapled, with a modern cover. Account of the miraculous healing of a paralyzed woman in Champagne. To transport her from her home to the chapel of the parish church of Avenay, where Canon Gérard Rousse—who had died two months earlier—was buried, she had to be placed on a donkey and tied to it, because she could not hold on otherwise.
