Flowers in the Wind. Five-light chandelier, completely handmade by a Murano master glassmaker, a true classic of Murano glass, in clear opaline and pink glass. Bright luminosity in different lighting conditions: see all the photos. It illuminated the center of a small shop in Venice, now under restoration. The previous owner recalls that they were purchased at Fornace a Murano, but given the era the purchase documents were not preserved. Rare clear opaline glass with pink decorations. Complete and in good condition. Note there are two spare pieces (a short flower and a tall flower) useful to preserve the chandelier’s integrity over time. Dating: ca. 1980.. It has 5 arms with downward-facing floral cups, all edged in pink, interspersed with short curved flowers. In the center 6 tall flowers with opaline stem and curved pink flowers. The curved flowers give a nice dynamism to this chandelier, nicknamed precisely: Flowers in the Wind. Width: 64 cm. Height: about 60 cm. With a chain, the height can be adjusted up to 100 cm. A classic Murano chandelier, bright and particularly suitable for a classic decor, but also modern due to its rare and elegant opaline glass. The photos with ambient inserts are shown to convey the versatility of this splendid example of Murano art. Electrical system working. Socket for E14 bulbs. The chandelier has only been dusted to maintain its light patina of time, but it can be washed before installation. In the last photos the high-quality construction details and assembly steps are shown. It will be shipped dismantled, with assembly instructions for safer transportation.
