Chandelier - Metal, painted metal - Italian chandelier

Decorative Italian floral chandelier – painted metal – lilies – 6 light points – mid-20th century Description Very decorative Italian chandelier crafted in painted metal, with a rich floral design. The chandelier is built around a bouquet of large, three-dimensionally formed lilies, surrounded by gracefully curved leaves and tendrils. The flowers are rendered in cream, red/orange and goldish tones, combined with green leaves. The six light arms are equipped with flower-shaped drip trays and candle sockets. The entire construction is hand-formed and decoratively painted. The organic lines, large flowers and the use of patinated painted metal fit the tradition of Italian floral decorative lighting from the mid-20th century. Origin: Italy, presumably Period: presumably ca. 1940–1960 Style: Italian floral / Hollywood Regency / Florentine decorative style Material: formed and painted metal Number of light points: 6 Maker: not identified / no visible maker's mark found Condition The chandelier is offered as a restoration object. There is clear aging and wear from use. The original decorative finish shows paint loss, discoloration, patina, oxidation and local damage. It is precisely for this reason that the object currently has a pronounced authentic, lived-in character. The electrical installation does not function and must be fully checked and, if necessary, renewed by a skilled professional before use. The chandelier is therefore expressly sold without warranty on electrical operation. View the photos carefully; they form an important part of the condition description. A striking and highly decorative restoration piece, interesting for enthusiasts of vintage Italian lighting and floral interiors.
