Chanel pair of vintage clip-on earrings in gold-tone plated metal, featuring the turn-lock motif modeled after the closure of the classic flap handbag. Each earring is fitted with an applied oval plaque on the reverse. The plaque contains three lines of text: the top line reads (c) CHANEL; the middle line reads 96, an interlocking CC logo, and A; the bottom line reads MADE IN FRANCE. The date code corresponds to the 1996 Autumn collection. Accompanied by a black square presentation box with CHANEL printed in white on the lid.
