Charles I (1625-1649), Tower mint, Tower mint, Halfcrown, Gp III, type 3b, mm. bell (over portcullis on rev.) [1634-5], plume over shield, 14.92g/9h (Francis BNJ 1917, p. III. 4 = Bull 212/27, this coin illustrated; SCBI Brooker 333; N 2210; S 2774). Struck on a compact but rather full weight flan, otherwise very fine, some crazing on the obverse £300-£400.
