Cheerful Butterfly Pendant with Diamonds set in Gold, 1990s

What a magnificent sight: This butterfly is a jewel that instantly put a smile on our faces. A total of 72 diamonds weighing a combined 3.52 ct are set in warmly glowing yellow gold. So shines and sparkles the little butterfly that it is a pleasure to look. The pendant is part of a great jewelry tradition: that of insect jewelry! Since the late 19th century, butterflies, bees, flies and all sorts of other animals have populated the collars and necklines of ladies - and have not left them until today. Especially beautiful is that the body of the animal is formed from a large marquise-cut diamond: the shape of the diamond and the design of the pendant thus complement each other. The butterfly was made in the 1990s. We discovered it in Hamburg. An independent report on the quality of the materials is included with the pendant.
