Chess set - Ajedrez Fantasia

Vintage Chess "Ajedrez Fantasía" 1970s - Complete 32 Pieces + 1 Extra + Box Description: Splendid and rare vintage chess set "Ajedrez Fantasía", produced in Spain around the 1970s. This model has become a true cult object for collectors and fans of mid-century modern design thanks to its unique, stylized medieval-inspired look, very different from standard classic chess. The set is in excellent vintage condition, clean and well preserved. Main features: - Piece condition: Fully playable and complete set. The blacks are 16/16 and the whites are 17/16 (includes an extra white pawn as a spare, very handy for collectors). - Material: High-quality era-era stamped rigid plastic, with finely shaped details (the castles-shaped rooks and the geometric knights are wonderful). - Box included: Comes with its original wooden box with a sliding lid, bearing the original inscription "Ajedrez Fantasia". Note: The chessboard is not included (the original set from that era included only the box with the pieces). A piece of board game history, ideal for display, gifting, or adding to your collection.
