Luigi Filippo Commode Neapolitan Mid-19th Century in Mahogany with Carrara Marble Elegant commode in the Luigi Filippo style of Neapolitan manufacture dating from the mid-19th century, made of mahogany wood and characterized by the wavy and harmonious lines typical of the period. The front features four wide, shaped drawers, punctuated by molded frames and original turned knobs, with central keyholes. The structure is adorned with carved front uprights with relief vegetal motifs that end in substantial rounded feet, giving solidity and elegance to the whole. The undulating movement of the façade adds lightness and refinement to the composition. The top is made of precious Carrara marble, shaped and perfectly integrated with the line of the furniture, an element that increases its prestige and functionality. Internally the drawers show dovetail joints, evidence of artisanal workmanship of the era. The back is solid wood with a period-consistent structure. A piece full of charm, ideal for bedrooms, entrances, or reception spaces, capable of enhancing classic and refined surroundings.
