China Beijing Silk - Carpet - 245 cm - 245 cm

We present an elegant pure silk Beijing Chinese rug, completely handmade, a refined piece of high artisanal quality. Manufactured in China between 1950 and 1960, this rug stands out for its silk-on-silk craftsmanship, a traditional technique that affords elegance, delicacy, and a finish of superior artisanal level. Its floral design is typical of Beijing carpets, with balanced ornamental compositions and floral motifs distributed harmoniously over a circular field, creating a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic. The rug features a fine, light construction characteristic of high-quality silk pieces, with a flexible fall and a soft touch that enhance its decorative and exclusive appearance.
