CHINA--EMPIRE. Lot of (2). 1911 5% Imperial Chinese Government Peking-Hankow Railway Gold Loan. Bonds for 1000 and 5000 Yen. K-212 and K-213. Very Fine to Extremely Fine. Issued by the Yokohama Specie Bank. This ten million yen loan was floated in May 1911 to redeem earlier loans used for building the Peking-Hankow (Beijing-Hankou) Railway. The 1000 and 5000 Yen bonds are rare. Estimate: $700 - $1,000. Provenance: From the Yang Ai Hao Collection. 1911年大清政府京漢鐵路5%金債券1000及5000日圓。兩張。 橫濱正金銀行發行。此一千萬日圓借款於1911年5月發行，用於償還早期修建京漢鐵路之借款。1,000日圓與5,000日圓債券罕見。
