CHINA--EMPIRE. Lot of (33). 1910 5% Imperial Chinese Government Tientsin-Pukow Railway Supplementary Loan. Bond for 100 Pounds. K-200. Very Fine. Issued by Chinese Central Railways Limited. According to Kuhlmann, only 8880 bonds remain outstanding. The first loan, issued in 1908, was insufficient to complete the Tianjin-Pukou Railway; therefore, the company issued another loan of 4.8 million pounds sterling in 1910 to cover the cost overruns.
