China Peking Aubusson - Carpet - 200 cm - 140 cm

We present an elegant Beijing rug, Aubusson style, made during the period 1970-1980. It is crafted in wool on a cotton base using the manual tufting technique. In this system, the wool is manually inserted into the base and fixed to the back with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile backing is added, providing stability and protecting the entire underside. It stands out for its delicate floral design, soft pastel tones, and the beautiful sheen of the wool, which changes slightly depending on the incidence of light. The rug is in perfect condition, practically like new and barely used, since it has only been laid on the floor on two occasions. The protective backing on the reverse is also in excellent condition. We have two identical ones!!!
