We present an elegant Beijing rug, Aubusson style, crafted during the 1970s–1980s. It is made of wool on a cotton base using the manual tufting technique. In this system, wool is inserted manually into the base and fixed to the back with a special adhesive compound. Finally, a protective textile lining is added to provide stability and protect the entire lower structure. It stands out for its delicate floral design, soft pastel tones, and the lovely sheen of the wool, which changes slightly with the incidence of light. The rug is in perfect condition, practically like new and barely used, since it has only been laid on the floor twice. The back protective lining is also kept in excellent condition. We have two identical ones!!!
