CHINA. Silver 10 Cents Pattern, ND (1912). Tientsin Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned

Exceptionally Rare "Memento" Minor Pattern in Silver CHINA. Silver 10 Cents Pattern, ND (1912). Tientsin Mint. PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, Unc Details. L&M-62; K-602; KM-7; WS-0087; Wenchao-902 (rarity: ★★★). Standing as the first example of the type that we have offered in over a decade, this EXCEEDINGLY RARE minor pattern striking in silver mimics the larger crown-sized denomination, which served as the prototype for the later mass output of "memento"-style crowns during the latter part of the 1920s. Though some cleaning marks are noted, this elegant specimen otherwise lacks any real wear, with some burnished hints combining with the gunmetal gray across both sides. Additionally, the strike is crisp and resounding, with some alluring brilliance evident throughout as well. A wondrous opportunity for the advanced collector of vintage patterns or minor RARITIES.
