A Chinese porcelain baluster vase of the 19th century, decorated in famille rose enamels with an intricate geometric diaper ground interspersed with floral motifs in polychrome. The body is further embellished with finely modeled and applied fruiting branches in high relief, including peaches and pomegranates, together with flowering foliage. The flared neck is finished with a Greek key border. A representative example of Qing dynasty export porcelain displaying the technical sophistication of applied porcelain decoration.
