Chinese Blue and White Porcelain "Lucky Boy" Ginger Jar -...

An authentic antique Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jar (tea caddy/bulb jar) featuring a dark blue slip background. The front of the jar is hand-painted with a stylized "Lucky Boy" or "Good Fortune" figure holding an open banner. The banner features the traditional four-character greeting written from right to left: 恭喜發財 (Gōng xǐ fā cái), translating to "Wishing you prosperity and wealth." Good antique condition considering its age. The jar is missing its original porcelain lid. There are minor, typical manufacturing glaze imperfections, historic kiln grit, and small glaze flakes. No major cracks, restorations, or structural hairlines detected.

Estimate:£1.68
