Descriptio Tall, thick porcelain vase, “Cizhou sgraffito,” with a crackled ivory glaze and decoration engraved in the slip before firing. The central area features incised flowers and foliage between beaded circles. The neck is adorned with stylized friezes and two relief carvings. There is a small chip at the mouth of the neck. China, Yuan Dynasty, 13th-14th centuries (1271-1368). Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipping: no import duties apply within the EU.
