eolithic period, ca. 3300 - 2050 BC > A slender-necked ovoid pottery vase with a pair of loop handles on the upper body. The front surface is painted in dark pigment on pale terracotta ground: the upper register depicts swirling patterns evoking rushing river rapids, while the lower elements resemble fishhooks, linked to the nature worship of prehistoric communities.
