Descriptio Polychrome and gilded “Canton” porcelain stool, cylindrical in shape, with rich decoration of rose-colored enamels on a gold background. The body features extensive polylobed reserves with palace scenes populated by numerous figures, dignitaries, and servants, amidst architectural and garden elements; flowers, foliage, fruits, butterflies, and birds; medallions with flowering vases, friezes of Greek key patterns, and gilt cabochons in relief, as well as openwork openings in the form of stylized Chinese coins. China, early 20th century. Lot in international warehouse (within the EU). Intra-EU shipment: no import duties apply within the EU. An export permit from the country of origin may be required.
