A red chinoiserie decorated longcase clock, dating to the second half of the 18th Century. It has a dome top hood, integral side pillars and a long arched door with a shaped plinth base. The case has a red ground with raised chinoiserie decoration in typical Cantonese design. It has a brass dial with a subsidiary seconds dial, a date window, a silvered chapter ring and a silvered name plate engraved by the maker John Edwards of Norwich.
