Between forest and water Description: This is the place where the rustle of water meets the murmur of leaves. Here, the air smells of salt and moss, both distant and homey. The blue carries the freshness of depth, the green the warmth of life, and somewhere between the two, we stand — not quite in one, not quite in the other. You hear the voices of the two worlds, you feel their pull, as if they wanted to draw us to them. But in this fine strip between the two, where the colors mingle, everything is in balance, for a moment. Christoph PREIN is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, created mainly in acrylic. Originating from St. Margarethen, near Knittelfeld, his works are often characterized by a minimalist and abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity. His art frequently explores themes such as identity, memory, and the exploration of human emotions, often pushing the boundaries between the visible and the invisible. PREIN's artistic approach is multidimensional, combining painting, sculpture, and installation. This unique style has earned him recognition in Austria and internationally, with exhibitions in Europe, North America, and Asia. His works often invite the viewer to reflect on the complexity of the modern world and the deepest aspects of the human experience. For a painting measuring 200 x 100 cm, a bevel-edged wooden frame sized 190 x 90 cm with a thickness of 2 to 4 cm is required. You can simply stretch the canvas yourself or have it stretched by an artisan or a gallery.
