Church’s Custom Grade Two-Tone Penny Loafers – Made in England – Approx. EU 44 A particularly distinctive pair of Church’s Custom Grade penny loafers, handcrafted in Northampton, England. Beautiful and unusual two-tone leather design combining rich brown/cognac with dark navy blue detailing around the penny strap and collar. A classic English loafer with considerably more character than the usual single-colour Church’s models. Traditional Made in England Custom Grade construction with leather soles. The shoes have been very lightly worn. The leather interiors and insoles remain exceptionally clean, while the heels show very little actual wear. The leather soles show the normal superficial wear to the forefoot that develops quickly on this type of sole. The uppers have some minor marks. I have not polished them so this will probably be gone with some shoe care. The original handwritten size marking has faded and can unfortunately no longer be read with certainty. Based on measurements and fit, I estimate these to be approximately EU 44 / UK 10. For reference, I normally wear EU 45 in Nike sneakers and can wear these, although they are slightly too snug for me at the front.
