Cigar box - Thuya Loupe

Cigar box made from genuine thuya burl, one of the most precious and sought-after woods in the world, sourced from Morocco. Thuya burl is a true rarity. It grows slowly in the stump and roots of old trees, often hundreds of years old, and it takes decades, even centuries, for it to reach a size large enough to be worked. Only a minuscule portion of trees produces it, making it a rare, limited material that is increasingly difficult to find. Each piece that comes from it is thus the fruit of a long time that nothing can speed up. The flecks that traverse its surface are neither painted nor drawn: they are the natural fruit of the wood itself. They appear naturally in the burl, this exceptional development of the root, and the wood is presented as it was extracted. This gives a speckled appearance with warm nuances of brown, amber, and auburn, impossible to reproduce. Each piece is unique. Another asset: thuya releases a natural, warm, and pleasant woody scent, which gently perfumes its contents and its surroundings. An authentic, noble scent of this wood that endures over time. Between a high-end storage solution and a decorative piece, this object will immediately catch the eye and bring a note of natural luxury to your interior. A beautiful acquisition for lovers of fine materials and exceptional craftsmanship.
