Circa 1913 A.C. Gilbert No. 8 Erector Set

Early A.C. Gilbert No. 8 Erector Set, circa 1913, housed in its original three-tier wooden storage case with fitted compartments. The set includes a large assortment of early nickel-finished girders, angle braces, wheels, gears, pulleys, motor, hardware, and structural components arranged throughout case. An early electric motor is present along with numerous original accessories and parts. This set does not include an instruction manual. The original wooden case exhibits expected wear from age and use with corner scuffing, edge and surface wear, cracks, etc. This set has not been collated for completeness and is being sold with what is shown.
