oil on canvas, 75 x 62cm; framed 96 x 82cm, Condition Report, Condition Report, There is a large repaired L shaped tear to the left side of the painting which crosses the sitter's head and shoulder with losses and abrasions to the top. There is a further repaired tear to the upper right and another smaller tear to the sitter's hair, centre right. Extensive overpainting which has been and crudely executed. Craquelure and some small scattered losses. Surface dirt and discolouration, particularly to the face. Not examined under UV light, for a full report please contact the department.
