The new SERIE 8 by Citizen Automatic 39.00 mm diameter. Just in time for the arrival of milder temperatures, Citizen inaugurates the spring season with this new mechanical watch model that combines contemporary design, intelligent engineering, and practical functionality. This very new Serie 8 model continues to focus on the refined production of mechanical watches with a modern, sporty character. It features a case with a diameter under 40.00 mm (39.30 mm wide and 10.40 mm thick) made with five components finely polished to achieve a bold, architectural profile. The beating heart of this model is the slim automatic caliber 9051, which offers about 42 hours of power reserve, a seconds-stop function, antimagnetic resistance, and an average accuracy of -10 to +20 seconds per day. The transparent case back allows you to admire the movement and some of its finely finished details, such as the rotor with Côtes de Genève. The green dial showcases a decidedly contemporary Japanese aesthetic, characterized by a creative interpretation of Tokyo’s night skyline overlaid with a traditional checkerboard motif, an element historically associated with prosperity and good fortune. This complex combination gives each watch depth and character, making the dial instantly recognizable as an integral part of the Serie 8. The luminescent hands and indices, in vivid colors, ensure excellent legibility in any lighting condition, while maintaining the refined elegance expected from a modern mechanical watch.
