Claudio Rolfi (1960) - il circo in piazza (omaggio alla metafisica)

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great fascination that 20th-century Italian art has exerted on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs entirely dedicated to him. The Maestro Rolfi’s artistic work has been discussed by the most important newspaper outlets and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about six years as the set designs for Rai 3’s GEO program. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe. Oil painting and mixed media on a canvased panel. The work is a metaphysical piece, a subject dear to the artist. The painting comes with an Authenticity Certificate signed and stamped and is shipped via FedEx.
